Newport Golf Club is ideally situated less than a mile from J27 of the M4. This means that it has easy access to major cities including Newport, Cardiff & Bristol and is less than a two hour drive from London, the Midlands and the South Coast.
Directions to the club
By Train
The nearest mainline station is Newport although you can get a connecting train to Rogerstone 9on the newly opened Ebbw Vale branch line). Local Taxis are available - 3 minute journey.
For Large Vehicles (avoiding hump-back bridge)
Take the turning signposted High Cross. After 1/2 mile, proceed over the 1st roundabout. Proceed over a further two mini roundabouts and 100 yards after the second roundabout take a right turning (Pontymason Lane). Proceed up the hill and 100 yards after crossing the Canal take the turning right (through the yellow barrier). This lane leads to the Golf Club.
From M4 Junction 27
Take the turning signposted High Cross. After 1/2 mile, proceed over the 1st roundabout, at the next mini roundabout turn right. After 100 yards, take the lane on the right and the Club is over the hump-back bridge.
Parking
Ample car parking is available to guests adjacent to the clubhouse.
