This difficult stroke-index one is a long par four. The drive needs to be positioned up the right hand side as balls hit up the left hand side will drift off into a hollow, resulting in a difficult approach shot to the green over trees. A grass bank in front of the green tends to throw the approach ball to either side of the green towards bunkers. The green has many burrows and ridges which can make putting rather difficult depending on pin positions.
“A good drive essential for a chance of making par on this the hardest par four on the course. Anything left or right of the fairway can leave you blocked out on your second shot. Don’t be scared to land your ball short here as there is a large slope which will help your ball onto the green. When you reach the green pay attention to the subtle slopes that generally slope from top right to bottom left.”
