| Paul Thomas Head PGA ProfessionalPaul became the Head PGA Professional at Newport Golf Club in April 2016. He started his career in golf in 1997 under the tutelage of Peter Evans at Royal Porthcawl Golf Club and qualified through the National Training Academy at the Belfy in 2004. Paul has played an integral part in the organisation and running of many high profile tournaments including The Amateur Championship, Home Internationls and Ladies European Tour events. In 2010 he became the head PGA Professional at Coed-y-Mwstwr Golf Club and developed a successful junior coaching programme as well as providing members and visitors with high quality golf services. At national level Paul is a qualified PGA Tutor and Inclusive golf coach. |

| Scott CurtisScott started working at Newport Golf Club in May 2016. He has enrolled on the PGA’s Foundation Degree in Professional Golf and under the guidance of Paul he aims to develop his skills in all area’s whilst providing a great welcome to members and visitors. |

The course is situated in the spectacular setting of the Llwyni Wood, an ancient Oak woodland, surrounded by rolling parkland.
